Alyson and Michael’s Couple Photoshoot | West Bay, Grand Cayman

Being back home and having the opportunity to photograph these two makes my trip that much more special. I have been photographing Alyson and Michael since the beginning of their relationship, 8 years ago! Couples like this is the reason why I fell in love with photography. Becoming a part of someone’s milestones throughout their life is such an amazing feeling. It’s hard to explain the honor that comes with being asked to photograph a client again and again. Especially when you move to another country, and they still hire you to come photograph them!

This was my first time getting to include their fur baby, Rascal in their session. Isn’t he adorable?! He was so well behaved, and turned out to be quite the model!! I am definitely a dog person, so having clients bring their pets to their photoshoot is always fun for me.

Shooting at this location was a new experience for me, but I absolutely loved it. The field is so beautiful; and thankfully was overgrown making it perfect just for us. The trees are always something I have loved shooting under when I am back home. I love all the pines they leave on the ground! Having the variety of a field, ocean, iron-shore, AND an amazing wall… All at one location?! That is everything a photographer could ever dream of!

Alyson & Michael, thank you for letting me continue to be a part of your relationship milestones. I am so happy that you found one another. You two are sincerely perfect together. I cannot wait for your engagement session — I hope it is sometime soon!!! As always, it was so much fun having you both in front of my lens and I can’t wait to do it again soon.
