Alyson’s Styled Session | South Sound, Grand Cayman

It was the most beautiful, glowing, warm sunset I had seen in ages. Being by the ocean, back home is always a happy place for me. I had a few ideas for a photoshoot and wanted to bring two amazing ladies on board with me to help! This session wouldn’t be what it turned out to be without the amazing Jackie Soriano taking control of hair and makeup! She is a genius and can do ANYTHING you want. As a photographer, I love that she can keep it just dramatic enough for photos, but also not over the top. For the model, I had to ask Alyson of course! She has been modeling in front of my camera for so many years. I absolutely love working with her. Her blue eyes are stunning, and she’s a natural in front of the camera! It also helps that she is always up to any ideas I have for her sessions.

This beach is one of my favorites to shoot at when I am on island. I absolutely love the rocks that are right near the shore. The fact that Alyson was more than happy to get in the ocean to sit on them in her dress. When you’re able to trust your photographer’s idea, the photos always come out amazing! Sometimes certain poses and positions may seem unnatural, but look natural on camera. Always trust your photographer’s advice! I also really love how we were easily able to make two outfits look as though it was three.

The loose beach waves that Jackie decided to do on Alyson were perfect! The lipstick and everything was exactly what I wanted this look to have. Jackie is truly a genius when it comes to making your vision come to life. I wouldn’t change a thing that she did! Working with Jackie is also always loads of fun. I highly recommend everyone hires her for events and photoshoots. Thank you Jackie for being a part of this session. Can’t wait to work with you again!
