Alyssa’s Milk Bath Session | South Sound, Grand Cayman

I finally made it happen – a milk bath session! When I first saw a photo of a milk bath session, I was beyond excited, and interested to photograph one myself. When Alyssa mentioned how she’d love to model for one, I couldn’t have been more excited! Alyssa is not only stunning, but the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She also does all her own makeup, which is always gorgeous and perfect! Any time we’re in the same country, Alyssa and I brainstorm new photoshoot ideas together. She is always up for trying new and different ideas and I love how excited she gets about planning and being a part of them. Alyssa truly commits fully to the idea and theme of the session. Seriously, what more could you ask for in a model??

The biggest challenge for this session was light! As most of you who follow me know, I’m a natural light photographer. I specialize in manipulating natural light, and creating beautiful images with it. Being indoors, in a bathroom with no windows, at night, was a whole new challenge. Thats okay, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Our friend Alyson offered her tub for us to use. It was perfect as it was white, and extra wide in comparison to a traditional tub. This worked in our favor, and perfectly for the session.

Alyssa, thanks for always being so adventurous with me and my ideas, and for coming up with some amazing ideas yourself. You were amazing as always to work with, and I can’t wait for our next photography adventure together!
