It was a beautiful sunny day, the breeze was light but just enough to remind us that it was still December.. Thankfully Melanie had purposely chosen a sunny, warm day to do photos of her beautiful newborn son, Cameron at their house. When Melanie and Rob first contacted me wanting a newborn session I was so excited. I absolutely love photographing newborns. Capturing all their little details and being a part of those first professional photos of them ever to be captured is something so special. I love watching new parents get to sit back and enjoy the session take place as they relax and admire their new bundle of bliss.

Cameron was a little older than I typically recommend for newborn sessions, but he was the perfect little model! He was more than content to just sleep through the entire session and let me pose him however I wanted. His dad wanted to be sure that we captured some awesome sport themed photographs of him. I had so much fun getting him posed all curled up on the football, he’s just too adorable. We all laughed at how content he was being posed on it as well. Another fun shot was getting little Cameron to lay on his Dad’s arm while his Dad was in his jersey.

Melanie & Rob, thank you so much for hiring me to be a part of capturing these beautiful memories of your gorgeous new baby boy. I am truly honored to have been a part of this milestone in your life. Thank you for inviting me into your home to give this session an added personal feel. Cameron was such a gem to work with and I loved every second of it. I loved that you guys had so many fun, creative ideas to contribute to the session, and I think we made a great team! :)
