Leilani’s Senior Portrait Session | Round Rock, Texas

It was a beautiful spring evening, the sun was shining, preparing for a stunning glowing sunset. I was excited to get to meet Leilani and photograph these memories for her before she graduates high school! Getting to know and work with her was such a pleasure. Leilani is sincerely such a beautiful person, inside and out. Her bubbly personality and her nonstop smiling is contagious, what more could you hope for from a client? :) It’s always amazing to be around people like Leilani and I had so much fun bringing her vision for her senior portraits to life.

Leilani told me how she also has a passion for photography. She told me how she really loves taking photos of her brother and friends; which is similar to how I started. Getting to meet someone who also has a passion for photography is always fun. I know how different it is when you’re on the other side of the camera, but I love to get to showcase people in front of my lens who also love photography. Leilani told me that she has been wanting to do this photoshoot for a long time; I’m really glad that I was able to be a part of it with her.

With prom just around the corner, I know that Leilani is beyond ecstatic to be going! She wanted to showcase in her images the same dress she’d be wearing to prom which I think is such a fun idea. When she looks back now, she will have these beautiful portraits of her in her prom dress in case she doesn’t get too many photos the night of. After all, prom is about just having fun with your friends!

Leilani, thank you so much for hiring me to be a part of this special time in your life. You were a natural in front of the camera, and I can’t wait to see what you decide to do in the future! I hope that you always have a love for photography and keep taking photos. You’re such an amazing person to be around, and your smile is not only beautiful, but completely contagious. I look forward to working with you again in the future!
