The day has finally arrived – Charlotte is here! I couldn’t be happier for the Royal family. I had so much fun getting to meet and work with them the first time a few months ago for their maternity session. Meeting new clients that you instantly click with is always such an amazing feeling. After getting to know the Royal family during their first session, I was beyond excited for Charlotte to arrive and work with them again!

Welcome to the world little one. You are already so very loved!
Michal and I planned out ideas for props for the session ahead of time. Some of which I provided and some of which she brought. Everything pieced together so beautifully! I really love when parents bring items that are personal to them, or were bought specifically for the baby. While props I provide are great, including sentimental and personal items always add a special, timeless touch. For example, we did photos with a bracelet of Michal’s that she wore at her wedding. Michal’s mum brought shoes that were Michal’s when she was a newborn, along with a tutu which ended up going together beautifully. I couldn’t be happier to have been able to incorporate these personal items in this session for the Royal family. I know it will always be so special to them, but also to Charlotte when she’s older. Here’s to the start of perhaps a new tradition for their family. :)
Charlotte is such a sweetheart, and did amazing during this session! She was so great throughout that we were able to include so many different setups and props throughout her session. I truly believe she was more than enjoying every second outside on the soft blankets, on the couch, getting to soak up all the warm outside air.
When we were unloading all the props, Michal and Dan let me know they had brought some soccer gear that they’d love to include if we could. I jokingly said it depended on the team they were representing.. Come to find out, there is more than a few reasons we all get along. I’m definitely a Manchester United fan myself, along with my entire family! I was so excited to be including the cutest, and smallest, Man Utd jersey for her session along with soccer socks, and a Man Utd alphabet book. HOW ADORABLE?!
When Michal mentioned playing up on their last name, Royal, for Charlotte’s session I instantly envisioned a setup. I’m so glad I was able to source a beautiful mini glamorous couch for Charlotte. I also ordered her a newborn sized tiara! After all, what is royalty without a glamorous crown?! :) The cowgirl boots that Michal and Dan brought were just too sweet. I loved that we were able to pair them with the sweet little flower crown I had.
Royal family, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of these extremely special and important milestones in your lives. It has been such a pleasure, and honor, to get to meet and work with you both! I know that your little girl is already so very loved by your family. I know she will always have so much joy and happiness surrounding her. I cannot wait to get to see her grow up! :) You two made a beautiful little girl, and I couldn’t be more excited for you both.
