Micah’s Smash Cake Photoshoot | Round Rock, Texas

Who else LOVES smash cake sessions?! I feel honored to have been a part of Micah’s FIRST birthday photos. He is such a cute and sweet little boy! His cake was made for him by his Mum, it’s a fruit cake and looked not only beautiful, but delicious! I love when parents make their kid’s smash cake; it that much more special and sentimental to look back on.

I love that his mum dressed him in just overalls for his photos! It’s perfect for a smash cake session and is beautifully timeless. Micah loved his balloons and getting to crawl around in the grass, and the teepee. To say it was a great way to spend a Saturday evening is a huge understatement. Getting to spend time with this family was a lot of fun! I enjoyed getting to capture these sweet memories of Micah for them to forever cherish and look back on.

Lots of kids really love seeing and going up to the goats at this location. They’re so sweet, and the babies are extra adorable. Micah was apparently their favorite, I’ve never seen them more interested in anyone before! They even posed behind him; perhaps I’ve been accidentally conditioning them to be more photogenic, haha.

Chumbley family, thank you so very much for asking me to be a part of this milestone in your lives. Micah is the sweetest little boy! I truly was overjoyed by getting to meet and work with you all. Your family is beautiful, inside and out. I hope that I get to work with your family again in the near future. :)
