It’s that time of year again! Time to meet up and photograph the beautiful Ayrhart family. :) I loved getting to see this family again, especially to see their daughters. Last year the younger one, Ellie, was super shy with me. This year however, we got ALL the smiles and giggles from her! She is fortunate to have such an awesome big sister, Mikayla to help make her laugh as well.
When the Ayrhart family booked a morning session at this park, I was so excited. I have been to this park in the morning before, but never to shoot. The light here at sunrise versus sunset is so very different. I loved EVERY second of it! I think it’s officially my favorite sunrise location of all the places I shoot. While evening light is gorgeous, morning light can be just as beautiful. It does mean getting up super early, but a lot of younger kiddos are happier first thing in the morning. Personally, it was the best way to start the day. :) Getting to spend a gorgeous morning out at this park with such an amazing family.
Mikayla and Ellie have grown so much since last year. It’s crazy to look back at their last blog and compare it to this one. I love getting to see the kids grow up and change. Getting to see what they are interested in this year compared to the year before, and seeing their personalities develop. Mikayla still loves all colours and to snuggle up with both her parents, and her little sister. Ellie is still her mama’s girl, but had so much fun with her dad during this session. Honestly, I had a lot of trouble narrowing down these images for their blog post. There are so many great posed shots, but all these candids filled with such beautiful emotion touched my heart. Capturing moments like this for families with each other is why I chose to focus on families and children in my career. I absolutely love being a part of these moments for families to have, cherish and be able to look back on for years to come.
Topher and Tracy, you guys are such amazing people, and parents. You both looked amazing, as well as your girls. I’m so glad that we got to meet and work together last year. It was an honor getting to work with you again this year! I hope you love these photos as much as I do. I really feel as though you got so many gems, I’m not sure how you will ever decide what to print. :) The love you two share between one another, and for your daughters is so beautiful and special. It shows in everything you and your girls do.
Ayrhart family, thank you so much for letting me be a part of another year of memories with you. You guys are awesome to work with and I look forward to all our future sessions together. Also, thank you for getting up early in the morning to capture these photos! You got such a beautiful morning with the most perfect weather. I’m so happy that we were able to have a sunnier session this time. I hope you have an amazing holiday season together, I look forward to seeing you guys again next year!
Gosh, beautiful shots. I admire your work Maegan so crisp, so fun, so natural. Loving this session, funny when i look at a photo shoot i always think of which one to pic to blow up in my home if it was my shoot. The black and white of you all hugging and giggling is priceless !
