Rikki & Jenna’s Maternity Session | Pflugerville, Texas

It was wonderful getting to meet and work with Jenna and Rikki! This will be their first baby and I couldn’t have felt more honored to have been asked to capture these moments for them.

When Jenna chose this park from my location guide, I was thrilled! It’s overlooked all too often by people when it’s such a gorgeous park. There is loads of variety in backgrounds all in one small area. Getting to finish the session at the bridge is always my favorite. Just before the sun completely goes down it always gives the most beautiful glow here.

I’ve been more than a little excited to get these images finished up and on the blog for Rikki and Jenna to see them. I think they both looked so fantastic! It was an added bonus that it was the perfect sunset and weather for their session!

I love when clients reach out for suggestions before their session. Getting to be a part of the planning of my client’s sessions is one of the best parts. I’m always happy to help with outfit suggestions and weighing out pros and cons of potential locations. When Jenna sent me a photo of her dress I was super excited! The pop of colour really suited her and the blue colour added the perfect contrast to their photos and for this location.

Jenna and Rikki, I’m so very happy for you both! This is such a beautiful and exciting time in your lives and relationship. I know that your son is already so very loved. Thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing these memories for you both to look back on for years to come. It was amazing getting to meet and work with you both. I look forward to having you all in front of my lens again in the future. :)
