Johnson Family | Cedar Park, Texas

I couldn’t be more excited to share this beautiful family session with you all! The Johnsons are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet, sincerely. Their little girl, Amelia, nicknamed Millie (which I love!), is adorable. She was the best throughout the entire session and smiled for every photo. Snuggling up with Mum and Dad, getting tickled, getting to make funny faces, run around a field at sunset, and getting to explore all different parts of the park.

Capturing milestones and memories for families is something that is so very beautiful. Spending afternoons with couples and kids like the Johnson family makes my job that much more enjoyable. Getting to work with amazing and kind people like this is why I fell in love with photographing families specifically. I truly love getting kids to giggle and have fun with their parents during a session. I want all the children I work with to always have fun when we’re taking photos so that next time they are that much more excited for a photoshoot. Many couples I work with during family sessions mention how they haven’t had professional photos of just the two of them since their wedding!! This always breaks my heart a little because parents always work so hard to make sure they have all the milestones of their children captured in photos. I always make it a priority during family sessions that parents get some photos of just the two of them alone.

Getting to meet new families like these, through other clients of mine is extremely special to me. The fact that the Wilson family love working with me enough to recommend me to their friends means the world to me. When I met up with the Johnson family, Nicole let me know that Millie and Addie are best friends! After getting to meet and work with both girls I can see them being the perfect pair of friends!

Sometimes it’s hard for kids to understand the difference between a park with a playground, and the type of park that I typically suggest for photoshoots. Millie was confused why there were no swings or slides to play on when they first arrived at the park. After a little bit though, Millie was distracted by having so much fun around the park getting to play and explore.

Daniel and Nicole, you two are such amazing people and parents. You were both so much fun to work with and I truly enjoyed getting to spend such a beautiful evening with you three. Your daughter is truly the sweetest! She is such a great kid to work with and I really love all the photos we got of her alone, as well as with you both. Millie is so full of love and happiness! It’s easy to see that she gets that from you both. I hope you love these photos as much as I loved being a part of capturing them for you all.
