Sam’s Senior Session | Cedar Park, Texas

Congratulations to this gorgeous woman, inside and out, on graduating!!! I know there are big things in her future. I truly cannot wait for her to accomplish so much. The sky is the limit!

Getting to meet and work with Sam was loads of fun! Her friend Mare came along to help. Darn social distancing! :) Mare was not only a huge help but was awesome to meet as well.

My favorite part of working with new clients is when you meet for the first time and it feels as though you’ve known one another for years. Meeting these girls was exactly like that. They were lots of fun, easy going and we shared loads of laughs!

Sam wanted to incorporate several different looks in her session while still being surrounded by nature. When I mentioned potentially getting in the water for some shots, she was more than willing to. Mud pathway and all! Definitely my kind of client… hahaha. I love going the extra mile to get the really awesome and different type of photos if clients are willing to. Not everyone will stand in the water, and splash around. I think it makes your photos more unique and gives them a more natural feel. It’s nice to not be so posed throughout everything and just have fun during your session.

Sam brought all the props – her cap and gown, champagne, confetti, etc. I loved it! It made posing her in lots of variations easy and giving each outfit it’s own theme in a way. When I went to find the best long grass with water nearby for her shoot, I was happy to find this little secluded area for her in Cedar Park. I hadn’t used that field or water before and I think it worked out perfectly!

When we finished Sam’s photoshoot in another field, in another outfit on our way out, she was game for laying down in the grass and everything. This field went into bloom just in time for her session and I couldn’t have been happier. It was the perfect setting for those final sunset photos.

Sam, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of capturing these beautiful images for you to look back on to remember your senior year through. I want to also specifically thank you for being amazing and patient through everything COVID put in our path. You were so much fun and I loved every part of your session!
