Travis and Samantha’s Engagement – Part 1 | Cedar Park, Texas

Imagine this……. Your client is flying in for a three part engagement session; you’re brainstorming ideas together for locations. (Yes, I did say THREE PART! Aka a photographer’s dream come true!!!) She mentions really wanting to be at an airport to represent her fiancé who is active in the Air Force. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best part was how surprised and happy she was when I let her know that I was able to make that vision come to life.

I love when my clients have really fun ideas for their photoshoots. Especially when it is something that is personal to them. Having Travis wear his flight suit on the runway and seeing Samantha next to him, so happy and proud was very special to me.

The family that allowed us to use their planes as props were so kind. They truly went above and beyond to help make this session everything it was! They were so hospitable and offered to position the planes any way we wanted them. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better family to work with even if we tried. We are all so thankful for them allowing us to do this photoshoot and for accommodating us!

For those of you who follow my blog posts, you may remember when I photographed Samantha & Travis while I was in Florida earlier this year.. Who would know a few months later, Travis would be proposing!

I’m so excited to let you all get to know Samantha & Travis over the next three posts. I want to tell a bit of their story in each post to make this more fun for everyone reading.

HOW THEY MET
They first met one night at work when Samantha was floated for the evening to Travis’ unit. As fate would have it, they’re both nurses at the same hospital. Over the following month, they talked and got to know one another better. Travis finally asked Samantha out on a date and since then – they’ve been an amazing couple. No seriously, they are the definition of relationship goals!!

Samantha and Travis, thank you so much for flying to Texas and letting me be a part of celebrating your engagement. I couldn’t be happier for the two of you! I am ecstatic to be a part of your wedding next year, it’s going to be gorgeous, and I may even cry!
