Katie and Austin Maternity Session | Austin, Texas

After weeks of rainy and windy weather the sun finally came out! It was definitely worth the wait to do this session. The gorgeous weather gave the warm glow they deserved for their photoshoot. Getting to meet and work with Katie & Austin was such a pleasure.

They welcomed me into their home to make their session that much more special to them. They have such a beautiful space in their backyard that was a dream to work in. Shooting under the lemon tree was probably my favorite!

I’m sincerely excited for them to meet their little girl; whom they’re naming Austin. :)

I loved Katie’s necklace that she pointed out to me with the letter ‘A’ on it. It’s so sweet to be able to include these sweet details in my client’s sessions for them. I always enjoy hearing people’s stories and what means the most to them. This session felt beautifully personal for Austin and Katie. Having images to look back on, celebrating your first baby, in your own space is something very special. Their backyard is what they loved most about the house when they first saw it. I thought it was really nice to be able to do these images for them in that special space.

Austin and Katie are adorable together. There is so much love for one another, you can already tell how loved baby Austin is going to be. I’m sure her fur-brother is more than ready to meet her as well! :)

Austin and Katie, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of the start of this new chapter in your lives. It was an honor being able to capture these images for you both to have for years to come. You both are beautiful people! It was a lot of fun getting to meet and work with you both. It’s such an exciting time for your growing family. I hope to work with you again in the future.
