Strizak Family Photoshoot | Georgetown, Texas

It’s hard to believe that it has already been three years since I have worked with this family! The last time I saw Jakob he was just about to turn one. The boys have grown up so much, but are still the sweetest! So happy to have all of them in front of my camera again. :)

After having to postpone this session a couple times due to weather, I’m glad that we finally got a beautiful day with a gorgeous golden hour for the Strizak family! When Jessica looked through my location guide and picked this park in Georgetown I was pretty excited. I have only had the chance to photograph a surprise engagement session here before. I fell in love with the park during that session and have been wanting to come back to shoot here ever since. Jessica explained how her family used to come to this park all the time when she was kid. It’s always great when you can capture memories for family somewhere sentimental.

Jace was a great big brother through the photoshoot and really helped Jakob to not be as shy. It’s safe to say both boys had lots of fun getting to explore and run around this park as we went from place to place for photos. Unfortunately, the water was much higher than either Jessica or I had ever seen it here. While we weren’t able to get the rock photos we planned on, we still had lots of beautiful areas to work with.

Strizak family, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of capturing these memories for you all to have and look back on. I truly loved getting to see the boys again after all this time. It’s crazy how fast the time has flown by! I’m so happy for your family and to see you all doing so well. It was so fantastic getting to work with and see you all again!
