Chiles Family Photoshoot | Austin, Texas

It’s that wonderful time of year again when I get to see the Chiles family again! I couldn’t be happier that I got to have them I front of my lens this year. This family is sincerely so sweet, I feel as though I’ve known them so much longer than I actually have. Last year when we worked together for the first time, they had just moved to Austin. Now they’re a bit more settled in and I’m so glad I got to capture more memories for them!

Leah makes getting a family of five to all show up dressed amazing together look easy! It was no surprise that they all arrived looking fantastic as always. All the girls are a lot of fun to work with! Getting to see their personalities and grow and change in just a year is a very special feeling for me. When you feel a part of watching your client’s kids grow up, that’s part of what makes working with families so rewarding.

My favorite part about these three sisters is how much they love one another, yet how different their personalities are in so many ways. Lauren is the eldest and is a natural in front of the camera. She is always happy to jump in and help with making everyone smile. Lindsey is so very sweet; she always has ideas of how she wants to pose for her individual photos beforehand which I love! Lillian loves to climb everything and explore; who can blame her?? She would much rather be climbing up a tree than taking photos, but is always a lot of fun to work with.

Jeff and Leah are the best couple; they’re so much fun and it’s clear to see how much love they have for each other and their three girls. Their family is so sweet and being able to capture their portraits is truly enjoyable. Making time during the session for just the two of them was really important to me. They are such great people, but better yet, they are amazing parents. Seeing them together is very sweet and I love getting parents to take a few shots just the two of them. Parents, don’t forget, you’re important as well! :)

Getting to plan the session with Leah and put all our ideas together was fantastic as always. When Leah chose this park I was really excited for them. There are so many beautiful areas throughout that make for gorgeous photos. The girls had lots of fun getting to walk around and climb up all the rocks, over the water, and onto fence posts haha. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon all together? :)

Chiles family, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your family photos again. It was sincerely wonderful getting to see and work with you all again. I look forward to doing it again next year and continuing to provide you with all these amazing memories frozen in time for you to look back on and enjoy. You’re all so beautiful inside and out!
