Gladu Family Photoshoot | Cedar Park, Texas

Getting to meet and work with the Gladu family was so much fun! Their little boy, Cole was too cute. He really loved getting to walk through this park, see all the dogs and other kids. He was such a sweet snuggle bug; happy to cuddle up with his mum and dad throughout the session for photos. Honestly though, how beautiful is this family?!

Not only did everyone look amazing, but Elisa and Jason were truly the sweetest. I really loved getting to know their family as we captured these beautiful moments of them all together. Being a part of milestones in family’s lives, especially as their little ones grow up and change throughout the years, is so very special to me. This was the first time I met the Gladu family, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Cole is such a character! I enjoyed getting to know him and have him eventually warm up to me and have fun. He was more than happy to smile for all the goldfish; but I mean, who wouldn’t?! :)

Some kids take a little more time than other’s to warm up during a photoshoot, and that’s why it’s great to have an hour for your session. Having the added time gives you the ability to have photos that capture a blend of candid moments as well as posed. Having a full hour lets kids warm up at their own pace and enjoy their time with their family. I try my best to let things progress and flow naturally, especially with younger kids as I find that’s when you get the best shots.

Getting photos of parents by themselves is always a priority to me. I think it’s important to make a little time to celebrate yourself as parents! Getting some photos of Jason and Elisa alone together was precious. Their chemistry with one another was so sweet to see. It was that much better when Cole was sitting to the side giggling and clapping as I took photos of just his parents alone. I really love being able to capture emotions between couples, and most importantly, parents. The love parents pour into their kids is beautiful. Taking some time in these sessions to let them focus on capturing memories together is something I truly enjoy. After all, your love for one another is an important part of this milestone in your life as well.

Gladu family, thank you so very much for asking me to be a part of your family photos this year. It was fantastic to meet you and I sincerely loved working with you. I really do look forward to doing it again in the future. You’re all beautiful people inside and out. The love you have for one another, and for Cole is really precious. I hope you all had as much fun during the photoshoot, and enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed being a part of capturing them.
