I’m so excited to share this beautiful family photoshoot with you all on the blog today!

The Petrella family is not only beautiful and fun, but so very sweet. I truly enjoyed getting to be a part of every second of this session with them. They were staying in Austin with family and wanted to get some photos done together. I am so glad they decided to hire me for these photos because getting to meet them was a sincere pleasure.

I love working with couples like Ariana and Joe. Coming to a session ready to have a fun time all together is the way I want all my clients to view photoshoots. Cherish this set time together without any phones or distractions just to laugh and snuggle one another.

Have I mentioned how stunning they looked?! I love when my style guide helps clients with what to wear. I know dressing yourself for something like photos can be hard enough; dressing your entire family can be really stressful! I provide a very detailed style guide to try and help my clients prepare themselves and all members of the family for photos. I go into great detail about colours and even accessories to wear or bring. I also have prop suggestions and ideas. The guide includes tips for kiddos of all ages as well.

Their son, Julian is one year old, which is such a special age! I love being a part of that milestone for kiddos. Their giggles, them learning to walk and exploring all their new independence. It’s adorable and such a precious milestone that seems to fly by all too quickly.

Sunrise sessions like this one provide such beautiful soft, even light. Getting to spend my morning with families like these are the best parts of my week! Especially when doing photos during the summer time, morning sessions are the best way to avoid the heat!

Petrella family, thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing these memories in your life. Julian is the cutest little boy and I hope these moments of him as a one year old are ones you can look back on and cherish for years. I look forward to you all coming back to Austin in the future and hopefully booking another session with me. I would love to see Julian as he continues to grow into the adorable little man he’s going to be. The love you all have for one another is easy to see and kept me smiling throughout the entire session.
