Mike and Heather tied the knot!
No one, not even COVID was going to stop these two families from becoming one. What better way to celebrate your love for one another than with a micro wedding with your closest family and friends??
Getting to be a part of this special day for Heather and Mike was truly an honor. I met them and their four amazing children when I photographed their family and engagement session all in one.
After spending only a few minutes with them, I felt as though I had known them for years! This family is beautiful inside and out. You can’t help but have an amazing time when you’re around them. They are the sweetest and kindhearted people you’ll ever meet.
During the reception when listening to their friends and family give speeches, it was easy to see that they belong with one another. The amount of selflessness they have shown and continue to show all those they meet is remarkable.
Having clients that are so full of love not only for one another, but for everyone around them is the best feeling.
Getting to be a part of not only Mike and Heather coming together, but their four kids as well was extremely special. All four kids are such gems and it’s easy to tell that they’re raised in a house full of love.
Unfortunately COVID did put a glitch in their original date and guest list. However, once things started to reopen they set a new date! We were all determined for this family to have a gorgeous wedding no matter what. There may not have been as many friends and family in attendance, but those who couldn’t travel tuned in live on Facebook to watch the ceremony.
Throughout any hiccups that may have occurred in the overall change of plans, Mike and Heather handled it perfectly. When catering fell through, Mike took to the grill and they both cooked a beautiful dinner for everyone.
I know the love between these two will never fail. Every moment of this day, and all the days leading up to it were filled with nothing but love, laughter, kindness and happiness.
Mike and Heather, I couldn’t be happier for you both and to have been a part of this beautiful day. Thank you for asking me to capture these beautiful memories for you. I look forward to seeing you all celebrating many more years together.

What song did you walk down the aisle to? What made you choose that song?: Can’t Help Falling in love by Kina Grannis. Mike and I struggled with falling in love and how it would effect our lives, especially our children. This song was about falling in love despite all odds of the world.
What was your favorite part of your wedding day & why? At the end of the evening, just when the band was about to leave. Everyone was out on the dance floor and we all made a circle, held hands and sang together. It was Purple Rain. LOL! What a beautiful memory.
Are you glad that you did a first look? Yes! It was so fun to see how Mike reacted to my dress that day.
Mike, what did you think when you first met Heather? She was beautiful, smart, fun and spontaneous. I fell in love with her fast and hard.
Heather, what did you think when you first met Mike? Mike was boisterous and fun, but his kind and giving heart is what made me fall for him. He is an amazing dad and friend. Loves his family and friends. Never knows a stranger. He pushes me to be better.
